Hello, my name is Ellen. I am married with two children! I love children and gymnastics alike. I am a Safety and Risk certified Professional Instructor Member through USA Gymnastics with over twenty-five years gymnastics experience. Prior to working as the Team director for Gymnastiks Unlimited, I was a team gymnast and coach. I am a strong believer in education and continuing to grow in your knowledge base. "Who dares to teach, must never cease to learn" is one of my favorite quotes! I have attended numerous Hands On training courses, National and Regional USAG training's, spent weeks at the International Gymnastics Camp of Pennsylvania and USAG Training camp held at the Texas Olympic training center, where I was taught from some of the best coaches in the world! Through coaching, I have found that I utilize my Occupational Therapy degree daily, along with the experience I learned through owning a Licensed Child Care. I feel it has given me a better understanding of the physical, and mental aspects of children. This is such an important part of gymnastics for strength, discipline and self-confidence! Through NorthPointe Gymnastics, I hope each child is given the ability to have a fun and exciting time learning the sport that can/will benefit them for the rest of their lives! I thank God every day to have the opportunity to bring a fun and healthy environment to the children of our community. Thank you for your support as continue to grow NorthPointe Gymnastics!
I have a strong background in coaching kids and athletes of all ages. I have experience as a gymnastics coach, while gaining additional knowledge from hands on training courses and attending Congress training sessions. Being a college athlete through the sport of wrestling, I feel that I bring additional training and techniques to my coaching ability. I look forward to working with you.
Hello! My name is Tatum. I am attending Muskegon Community College and working towards getting my CDA and a Child Development Degree. I came to NorthPointe with over 13 years of gymnastics experiences, as a recreational gymnast followed by my years as a competitive gymnast. I have completed many educational courses, along with attending multiple National Gymnastics Congress trainings. I am excited to work with Tumble Tot team, Pre-Team, and Recreational Gymnastics! I love to watch people grow and get better at the sport they love to do. So with all of my background knowledge, I cannot wait to teach your child here at Northpointe!
Hello, my name is Paige. I used to participate in competitive cheer, while doing that we took gymnastics classes. With some gymnastics background & the love for teaching kids I feel this job is fitting for me. I enjoy teaching your kids here at NorthPointe. Watching them learn and grow while having fun is amazing.
Hello! My name is Katie and I am so excited to be working with your kiddos! I absolutely love that I can take this opportunity to take a passion of mine and turn it into a career. After doing gymnastics for 8 years, I was told I could no longer participate in the thing I loved most. The bond between a coach and a gymnast is forever. I am so honored to be a part of this amazing time in their lives! I cannot wait to watch your kids learn and grow in gymnastics as well as other aspects of their lives!
Hello, my name is Zoie. I am currently a competitive Level 6 gymnast for NorthPointe Gymnastics and love competing. I started my experience with NorthPointe Gymnastics when it opened in the little building, and have not wanted to leave. I have been a cheerleader for many years and currently am through Hesperia High School. Being a competitive gymnast has allowed me to view the progressions needed for children to learn to grow their skills and become a better gymnast. I also have a lot of experience with kids through babysitting, and various other summer programs I have volunteered for. Miss Ellen was my officially first gymnastic coach when I started at the age of three years old, and I hope to bring the joy to your kids that gymnastics has brought to me.
Hi my name is Marti, I have been a gymnastics mom for 14 years! My daughter is currently on the NorthPointe Gymnastics Competitive team. I actively work with the local 4H kids through equestrian and drill team where I have learned to teach responsibility and hard work. I have my Occupational Therapy Assistant degree as well as my certificate in Massage Therapy which allows me to be able to understand how the human development and body mechanics play a part in gymnastics. With my gymnastics training and continued education through USAG I look forward to coaching your children and assisting with their growth in not only gymnastics but as a child as well.
Hello! I am a former kindergarten and preschool teacher who has always had an interest in gymnastics. As a former teacher, I know the value of keeping children active and healthy. Gymnastics offers kids a chance to learn and grow in many important ways. I am so pleased to be working with students as part of the NorthPointe family!
Hi, I'm Maya Hudson! I started gymnastics with my little sister when we were both young. She continued on, but I had to stop because school sports got in the way. Gymnastics has always been one of my favorite sports to watch. With my continuing education from USAG I can't wait to coach and grow with your children!
